Recently, looking at the trend of #DOGE, I can't help but feel a bit emotional. In the past, when it was mentioned, everyone would go crazy, but now it feels like the old dog is taking a break.
Back in 2017, who hadn't held a bit of Dogecoin? Even a single emoji from Musk could send the whole internet flying. But now it's different; the market has started to be picky, and relying solely on sentiment won't cut it anymore.
Now PEPE, WIF, and POPCAT are surging up, not just relying on memes, but on gameplay, ecosystems, and narratives. If DOGE wants to make a comeback, it needs to find a second spring through payments and applications.
To put it simply, the faith is still there, just lacking the opportunity to reignite.
