$Wormhole Reserve Adds 1M $W Tokens Worth $59K 💠
The $Wormhole team announced that its strategic reserve, Wormhole Reserve, has added 1 million W tokens today, valued at around $59,000.
Previously on September 30, Wormhole introduced the Reserve as a strategic pool designed to accumulate both on-chain and off-chain protocol value to support long-term ecosystem growth.
Wormhole 2.0 will feature a 4% base staking yield and governance incentives, with users able to boost returns through ecosystem participation and Portal Earn.
The mechanism introduces no new inflation, keeping total supply at 10 billion tokens, and will replace annual cliffs with a new biweekly unlock system starting October 3, 2025. $W
