About Liquity
LQTY is the governance and utility token of Liquity, a decentralized borrowing protocol on Ethereum. Liquity allows users to take out loans in a stablecoin called LUSD by using ETH as collateral, with some of the lowest borrowing fees in DeFi. The LQTY token plays a key role in the ecosystem by incentivizing users to participate in the stability of the protocol and giving holders a say in its future development. Unlike many lending platforms, Liquity offers predictable interest rates and no hidden fees, making it a transparent option for crypto borrowing. For those interested in decentralized finance (DeFi), LQTY provides a way to engage with a system designed for efficiency and long-term sustainability.

Liquity is a decentralized borrowing protocol that allows you to draw interest-free loans against Ether used as collateral. Loans are paid out in LUSD (a USD pegged stablecoin) and need to maintain a minimum collateral ratio of 110%. LQTY is the secondary token issued by the Liquity protocol. It captures the fee revenue that is generated by the system and incentivizes early adopters and Frontend Operators.
