wow, been a wild ride to mainnet.
some fun facts: uma and i started in 2021 working on zk bridging, until we realized the real problem wasn't bridging itself, it was that using zk was so horrendously complex that nobody could actually build with it.
we pivoted to making it possible to prove any piece of software.
i think we were one of the first teams to show that the risc-v zkvm approach was endgame. it's nice to see teams like zksync, scroll, and even ethereum now agree it's the right approach.
with this mainnet launch, we finally have the ingredients for easy-to-use, low-cost proving that teams need to scale zk in production. i'm also really excited to keep working with the talented hardware teams and provers who are tirelessly pushing to make zk 10-100x cheaper, which should onboard basically every crypto infra protocol to zk in the near future.
thank you to everyone who got us here: paradigm, the early adopters, and the oss developers who believed in the vision.
our work is only getting started.
