I honestly haven't been able to keep up with Monad since it seemed like a long-term battle, but recently I had a conversation with a team building services on Monad, and they mentioned they aim to position themselves like Solana on EVM, which piqued my interest.
I had a somewhat cult-like image of it being an insular vibe, but it seems much more open for Dapps compared to Bera.
