On the long time frame your goal is the survive. But here we are at the final inning and your goal is to maximize profits. How? 1. Sizing matters. If you have high conviction, your trade size should reflect it. 2. Spot trades mainly. Leverage is for select occasions and only in small size (2-3x). 3. Back the winners. These are the ones that will attract the most attention and therefore the most flows. (I.e. ZEC, ASTER, PUMP, MNT, BNB etc). There's waves to catch and if you catch a few you'll have compounded nicely. 4. Avoid trying to be smart and shorting just to be right. It's easier to be long during this part of the cycle. Shorting works but sporadically and usually on exhaustion of crime. (I.e. MYX, AIA, OM) 5. Allocate proper mindspace to your portfolio. If you have 4- low 6 figs you're better off looking on chain. Especially around "seasons" (i.e. BSC szn, sol eco szn). If you have >high 6 figs CEX spot is a really good place to hunt for runners that you can compound. Multiple 20-50% wins can really increase your stack significantly over a couple of days/weeks. 6. Always be on the lookout for invalidations. Speak to people and be open minded about how the market is reacting to news.
