Without the dangling airdrop “carrot” at TGE, projects fail at attracting capital, interest and genuine users Airdrops are a means to invest and hold your capital with a project, similar to @solsticefi where growing TVL unlocks a higher $SLX supply % at TGE - incentivizing more users to participate and grow each other’s exposure Only “airdrop farmers” who should be slashed and viewed poorly are ones who farm InfoFi campaigns: they spam-tag other KOLs and projects, don’t provide value in their content, full of AI slop. Don’t hate airdrop farmers, hate low quality content producers whose core goal is maximum capital extraction via AI and sybils Actually don’t hate anyone who still shows up to this diabolical industry everyday in all means necessary to make it. Airdrops are often people’s hopes, dreams and aspirations - a motivation to keep pushing, no matter how hard the times get. People need hope
